Our Passion
Amy is our resident tattoo apprentice, starting her journey in 2023 she is quickly becoming a very competent and well rounded tattoo artist. With a strong passion and knowledge for Japanese and traditional tattoo styles, she is inspired by their bold structure and powerful symbolism. As she continues learning her craft, Amy focuses on clean technique, attention to detail and creating meaningful designs that last a lifetime and provide clients with artwork they are proud to wear.
Rob has over a decade of experience as a professional tattoo artist and established The Black Sage Gallery in early 2022. With a keen eye for detail and accommodating approach to the tattoo process he has built an extensive client base that spans generations. He specialises in black and grey tattoos with gothic and abstract themes, taking inspiration from mythology and classic oil painters alike. With a wealth of knowledge and experience he is able to create a bespoke design from your direction and ideas or provide a unique, contemporary design of his own creation.
Kathryn is our professional body piercer and brow artist. She has over 5 years of experience working within the industry and over a decade working directly with hospital patients within the NHS. This combined experience and medical knowledge give her a huge advantage to provide best practice in terms of sterilisation, proper aftercare advice and friendly yet professional services to all of her clientele. She continues to monitor and improve her technique and equipment to bring you an unparalleled quality of service during your piercing or brow treatment.
